Poll: Downtown parking mixed bag

  • Thursday Poll: Parking is an issue for many people when they consider shopping, dining or recreating in downtown Coeur d'Alene. But not much of a deal breaker. A plurality of 74 of 184 respondents (40.22%) said it isn't a problem at all. Another 41 (22.28%) said paid parking is annoying but won't keep them from going downtown. 53 (28.8%), however, say they avoid the central business district because they don't want to deal with parking. 11 (5.98%) said they stay away from downtown as a result of the parking situation but they understand why the city charges and marks tires. 5 (2.72%) said they stay away from downtown after getting a ticket.
  • Today's Poll: Do Donald Trump's choices for leadership posts in his administration concern you?
