As much as I like you guys, it was hard to come back this morning after a wonderful week in Portland and at the Oregon Coast. I missed the snow coming and going. And caught sunshine on the coast for 2 days. Mrs. O & I experienced a wonderful reunion with Amy Dearest, Junior and their spouses Dec. 26. That's the first time the six of us have been together in 3 1/2 years. It's hard to get everyone together when your kids live on opposite coasts. So I'm beginning 2016 on an upbeat note, enjoying the afterglow of many wonderful moments during my vacation. I'm also beginning my 46th year in the newspaper business. I hope 2016 is good to you.
