Montana woman died of exposure

News release from Detective Jared Reneau of the Coeur d'Alene Police Department:

Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives have identified the woman found on the east side of the Coeur d’Alene Resort on (Wednesday, Jan. 6) as 72-year-old Lois May Falcon. Falcon most recently lived in St Regis, Mont. It appears Falcon’s vehicle went into Lake Coeur d’Alene. Falcon was able to get out of her vehicle and made her way towards the Resort, where she was later found. The Kootenai County Coroner’s Office determined the cause of death was hypothermia due to exposure. No foul play is suspected.
