Republican Chris Fillios announced he will seek the District 2 Kootenai County Commission seat in the May 17 primary election. The district includes the southern part of the county, areas around Lake Coeur d'Alene and most of Coeur d'Alene. "I’ve had numerous people ask me to run for this seat," Fillios said. DFO: I know some of the uber-cons who support Stewart the first time around aren't as happy with him this time. Fillios is a solid conservative. This could be an interesting race. Thoughts?
