Votava had refused to serve the disabled veteran as a result of the dog. Votava bought Yockum and beer and apologized. Yockum accepted the apology.
The Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations has issued a statement re: the shootings in Dallas, Texas, Baton Rouge, La., and St. Anthony, Minn. The task force, which originated as a response to the Aryan Nations, is calling for this country to turn away from violence and return to civil discourse.
