Here's the statement from U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, after Donald Trump became the GOP presidential nominee Monday:

"Congratulations to Donald Trump on his nomination victory. I strongly support his candidacy for president and now we can come together to support his call for less government and more support for veterans, law enforcement and increased safety and security.  He will make the right decisions about Supreme Court nominations.  We cannot afford another Clinton in the White House.”
