Wild Card/Thurday -- 6.2.16

I still don't have my work computer. It is suppose to arrive during the noon hour today. But I'm at the office again, using my personal computer from home, with the scanner barking in the background. I realize that I can work from home. But I don't like to do so. I like keeping home and office separate.

Do you read 'physical books'? 13

In tweeting about a KXLY story re: the sale of venerable Auntie's Bookstore in downtown Spokane, Melissa Luck/KXLY asks: "Do you still read physical books? I do. I refuse to go digital. Glad my fave Spokane bookstore will stay intact." The physical books I read are usually from the library. The ones I buy are digital for my Kindle. How about you

Contrary to the old movie, "Support Your Local Sheriff," the new chairman of the Kootenai County GOTP didn't. Visit Idaho offers "5 Coeur d'Alene restaurants that will blow your mind." The list ranges from Adventures in Deliciousness to Fire Artisan Pizza. Satay and Beverly's is tucked in between. Frankly, I haven't heard of 2 of the eateries. It's a paid content piece, so maybe advertising had something to do with the list.

In Wednesday's poll, By a count of 8-to-1, Hucks Nation said that the aging Baby Boomers had a higher moral character in their glory days than today's Millennials (although I suspect few millennials voted in the poll).
