The $3.5 million proposed reconstruction of Seltice Way, from Riverstone to about Atlas Road, was discussed at length at the recent ignite cda meeting. Coeur d'Alene Mayor Steve Widmyer raised concerns that the estimated cost of the project has increased to about $5 million and wondered whether four bus stops and some additional work on intersections were necessary. The city of Coeur d'Alene will seek help in funding the project from the Post Falls Highway District, Hayden Area Regional Sewer Board, ignite cda, and possibly stakeholders located along Seltice Way.
