A double-amputee will join North Idaho College’s wrestling team. The school signed Class 6A 2016 wrestling state champion Hassan Hawthorne from Alabama. Hawthorne recently graduated from high school with a 37-0 record in his senior year. He also earned Alabama’s Most Valuable Wrestler for class 6A. He was born without tibias and both legs were amputated below the knees when he was a child/Kaitlin Riordan, KREM. More here.
