The Kids Parade, an annual event kicking off the Fourth of July festivities in Coeur d’Alene, will take place Friday. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at 10th Street and Sherman Avenue and continues to Independence Point. This year’s theme is “Wide World of Sports.” There are four categories to choose from: Wheels, Floats, Pets and Costumes. There will be awards for best theme-related, most patriotic and for the most original/Coeur d'Alene Press.
