McEuen Park continues to shine

Spudbob: Yesterday was beautiful and I happened to be down at McEuen Park. It was packed! I tried to visualize what, on a similar day, it would have looked like a few years ago which got me thinking about the rabid opposition to the project. I know and understand the reasons given for opposing it but have never “grokked” (from Heilein's "Stranger in Strange Land" meaning to "totally understand something") why the opposition was so deep and visceral. Why it was so angry. Anyway, yesterday was beautiful and McEwen Park was crowded with people enjoying the day. Ahhh spring!"

Question: Any former Tubbs Hill opponents out there willing to say you were wrong?
