NIC scholarship to honor Sgt Moore

The Sergeant Greg Moore Memorial Scholarship has been established by friends of Moore through the North Idaho College Foundation to honor the Coeur d’Alene Police officer who was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2015. The Walla Walla Sunrise Rotary Club has already donated $4,000 toward the scholarship. Moore grew up in Walla Walla, Wash., and is the son of retired Walla Walla Police Capt. Fred Moore. Sgt. Greg Moore served with the Coeur d'Alene Police Department for 14 years. During his tenure in Coeur d'Alene, Moore was a patrol officer, field training officer, and school resource officer. He was well-known for his leadership skills and willingness to mentor other officers. He is survived by his wife, Lindy, and two children, Dylon and Gemma/Tom Green, NIC Press Room. More here.
