Karnowski will return to Gonzaga
Gonzaga center Przemek Karnowski is returning for his senior season. The 7-foot-1 center played in just five games last season. He had season-ending back surgery on Dec. 31 and received a medical redshirt. “I’m excited to be coming back,” Karnowski said in a GU release. “After talking with the coaches, my parents and the team, I decided this was the best decision for me. I still have a ways to go with my rehab, but I’m staying positive about the upcoming season.” Karnowski averaged 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds prior to the back injury/Jim Meehan, SR.
