The Kootenai County Democrats announced the results of their reorganizational meeting held Monday, May 23. The positions filled include: Paula Neils, chair; Richard Rolland, vice-chair; Cindy Algeo, secretary; Gale Stromberg, treasurer; Phil Clements, legislative district 2 chair; Kristy Johnson, legislative district 3 chair; Tamara Poelstra, legislative district 4 Chair; Bev Moss, state committeewoman; and Jerry Shriner, state committeeman. They were elected by the body of Democratic precinct chairs that were elected in the recent May primary election. Numerous additional precinct chairs, who were not on the May ballot, and vice-chairs were also appointed at the meeting. All positions are two-year terms which expire in 2018/Coeur d'Alene Press.
