The restored Liberty Bell is back at its station in Veterans Plaza at McEuen Field, reports Deputy City Administrator Sam Taylor. A chunk of the bell broke when a couple tried to ring it recently, causing the 1,500 pound bell to fall. Taylor credits Allied Weldery's quit work for putting the bell back in place before Veterans Day.
Although there is only one contested race for a North Idaho College trustee spot this year, you need to pay attention to two spots on your ballot. Trustee Brad Murray is contested in name only. But he needs you to know that the second name for his Zone 5 position, Geri Wile, has withdrawn from the race.
