Wild Card/Thursday -- 11.17.16 12 

no longer can avoid it. Birthday No. 67 is dead ahead, on Sunday. I was born on a Sunday, early in the morning, between 1:30 - 3 o'clock. When I started in the news biz, I was only 20. I thought at the time that it would be swell if I lasted in the business for 50 years, retiring at 70. 50 is a nice, round number. Who knows? Mebbe I'll make it.

Wind Storm 2016 changed his life 

At KREM 2, Taylor Viydo provides an update on Jordan Simon, a young man whose life was changed forever by Wind Storm 2016. The storm dropped a tree on the vehicle he and a friend were in, paralyzing the Twin Lakes man. Viydo reports that Simon has remained positive.

St Vinny's HELP center buys HQ

St. Vincent de Paul has been serving North Idaho for 70 years. Now, it finally owns its own headquarters.
