Indigenous Peoples' Day Monday 

"Monday will be the first Indigenous Peoples’ Day celebrated in Spokane," reports KREM 2. "In August, the Spokane City Council voted 6-1 to pass a resolution to change the name of Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day." Hayden area crash kills Coeur d'Alene trucker

A 53-year-old Coeur d'Alene truck driver died while driving northbound on U.S. 95 north of Hayden on Wednesday morning. Rock Anthony Gabbard was hauling 6,000 gallons of raw sewage for B&B Sani Services of Hayden and was en route to a dispensary area near Naples, said Idaho State Police Sgt. Chris Schenck.
