I was planning to watch the presidential debate Sunday, even before the latest controversy in the seemingly non-stop series involving Republican Donald Trump. I can't wait to hear how he tries to spin his way out of the latest revelation caught on tape re: his vulgar attitude and actions toward women.

Deputy hits, kills female pedestrian

A Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputy hit and killed a pedestrian on Highway 95 in Hayden early Saturday morning. The deputy was driving a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria patrol car south on Highway 95 in the right lane as he approached Miles Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the Idaho State Police. The car hit a woman on the highway.

Crapo calls on Trump to quit 32 

Republican Mike Crapo of Idaho is the latest senator to call for Donald Trump to step aside. Crapo released a statement Saturday morning that says “this is not a decision that I have reached lightly, but his pattern of behavior left me no choice.”
