Rich Landers of SR Outdoors has posted an item re: death of Great Barrier Reef that has gone viral & jammed up the SR.com system. I've barely been able to post this afternoon as a result. (And you thought I was just lazy.). I'm not going to fight the glitzy system any longer today. I'll try to post the Parting Shot and head home.

I've decided I can't vote for either Republican Donald Trump of Democrat Hillary Clinton. He appalls me. I'm tired of her lying and stonewalling. Whichever one wins, the country loses. It will remain terribly divided. Now, I must decide whether I'm going to leave the presidential race blank. Or write in someone, like Idaho's favorite son, Pedro.

She and Democrat Kristi Milan will debate an the noon Friday lunch of the Kootenai County Democratic Club. Rescuers recover hunter's body 

Rescuers have recovered the body of missing hunter Edward A. Hempel, 63, of Post Falls, on the face of a cliff in the Bernard Peak area. Hempel's body was found about a half mile from where he was last seen. A Fairchild AFB crew spotted the body late yesterday evening. It was recovered this morning.

SR can't endorse Far Right's Shea 

Huckleberries doesn't pay much attention to legislative races in Spokane -- even those in the Spokane Valley. But the race for Washington House District 4 is different. Incumbent Matt Shea is a Far Right candidate who occasionally pokes his nose in North Idaho's business. The SR refused to endorse Shea today, in his race with token opposition.

CdA tribe opens eagle aviary
