Voting deadlines approaching

Two voting deadlines are coming up, according to Kootenai County Clerk Jim Brannon. Voters who want an absentee ballot mailed to them need to submit their request by 5 p.m. Friday, and voters who want to cast their ballots early in person have until Friday, Nov. 4 to do that. To request an absentee ballot, the request form can be downloaded from the county elections office’s webpage: kcgov.us/elections. The form can be returned to the elections office by mail, fax, or email. Those who want to vote early in person can do so weekdays through Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the elections office, 1808 N. Third St., Coeur d’Alene/Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.
