Update: Hutto sentenced to life in prison

The sentences were for robbery, kidnapping and murder for the Oct. 22 incident.

Hutto was accused of kidnapping Kirk and killing him after following him home after a road-rage incident. Kirk was reported missing when he never returned home from his job as an X-ray technician at Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls.

Kirk’s body was found on Oct. 25 near the Hayden Creek shooting range not far from where his burning truck was located in the 23000 block of North Rimrock Road.

Hutto originally entered a not-guilty plea for thecharges of first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, robbery and arson. Jonathan Glover/SR
