I had an unpleasant surprise when I arrived at work today. My computer monitor made some popping sounds and then went blank. Then, I smelled a faint electrical smell. All of this equals a fried monitor. I hope that it doesn't extend to the computer. I've asked the techs downtown to send me a new monitor at noon. I'll see if that works then.
