Crapo aide: 95% of calls against DeVos

U.S. Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch were mum when asked by the press about the calls they'd received re: controversial Education nominee -- and now Education Secretary -- Betsy DeVos. But about a week ago, Bryan Ricker, regional director for Crapo told the Argus Observer (of Ontario, Ore.) that 95% of the calls were against the DeVos nomination:

“We are getting a lot of calls about the cabinet picks,” Ricker said. “They are being respectful, … and it is what it is.” “[Betsy] DeVos is the one we’re hearing the most about,... and I think 95 percent are against her,” Ricker added, referring to Trump’s pick for Education Secretary. Question: Now, just why can't either U.S. senator from Idaho admit that they received a heavy volume of calls opposing the nomination of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos?
