Hump Day Wild Card — 2.15.17

That PBS' "American Experience" documentary on Ruby Ridge lived up to its billing last night. Mrs. O was wondering how it was possible to tell the story of that complicated situation on television in an hour. But the producers did, walking viewers through the mind set on both sides of the standoff and the series of unfortunate events that left three did and transformed that remote mountaintop in Boundary County into an iconic, historical place. If you're trying to get up to speed on the Ruby Ridge standoff, I'd recommend former SR colleague Jess Walter's book, "Every Knee Shall Bow." Here's your Hump Day Wild Card ...
