Edit: Adjourn Legislature ASAP

The Idaho Legislature appears to be on track for a March 24 adjournment. Is there any way they could get out of town by March 4? Or even sooner?

Pardon us for wishful thinking. The budget committee, and Legislature, still has work to do on the budgets, so March 24 is a more realistic adjournment date. But the “silly season,” which often is a mark of the final weeks of a session, is in full swing. And like children sitting in the back seat of a car during a long trip, the rest of us are left saying, “Are we there yet?”

The legislative session, one of the strangest Idaho has had in some time, has been stuck in political paralysis almost from the start/Idaho Press Tribune. More here.
