Idaho insurance exchange 2nd best

Idaho’s state health insurance exchange, Your Health Idaho, hasn’t seen any insurers flee the market, the Idaho Falls Post Register reports today, and instead ranks among the most successful exchanges in the nation in an analysis by the Heritage Foundation. Post Register reporter Bryan Clark writes that the conservative think tank found that purchasers on Your Health Idaho have more choice, and insurers face more competition, than in any other state except Massachusetts. There are at least four insurers to choose from in each of Idaho’s 44 counties. By comparison, neighboring Wyoming, which went with a federal exchange rather than launching its own, has just one insurer available to its residents buying insurance on the individual market/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise.
