Local GOP OKs pro-Russia stand

That sound you hear is Joseph McCarthy spinning in his grave. Despite eloquent opposition offered by regional director Sid Smith of U.S. Sen. Jim Risch's Coeur d'Alene office, the zany Kootenai County Republican Central Committee OK'd a resolution backing Russia's foreign policy. The resolution applauding Vladimir Putin and Russia for resisting the "progressive globalist agenda" passed on a 20-18 vote at the monthly Central Committee meeting last night. I wrote about this matter here and here. Also, last night, the Republicans supported a resolution, with only 5 dissenting votes, calling for the full defunding of Planned Parenthood.
