Senate rejects repeal-only plan 

Senators on Wednesday rejected a key proposal that would repeal much of ObamaCare, despite intense pressure from conservatives. Senators voted 55-45 against an amendment from Sen. Couple visits all but 1 Cracker Barrel 11 

An 80-year-old Indiana couple has visited 664 of the nation's 665 Crackel Barrel restaurants, including the relatively new one in Coeur d'Alene, reports Andie Judson, WCNC-TV. Local GOP OKs pro-Russia stand 39 

That sound you hear is Joseph McCarthy spinning in his grave. Despite eloquent opposition from regional director Sid Smith of U.S. Sen. Jim Risch's Coeur d'Alene office, the zany Kootenai County Republican Central Committee OK'd a resolution backing Russia's foreign policy, 20-18. Local R's also backed complete de-funding of Planned Parenthood.

I saw a blond man-bun riding past on a bicycle during my noon walk along the waterfront Monday. And wondered: When will the man-buns go the way of the North Idaho redneck mullets? The man-buns are overdue to shuffle off stage. I consider them to bell bottoms of the hair styles. Something that has never worked.
