Letter: Same ol’ DMV

I arrived at the DMV in Post Falls at 8:30 a.m. Monday. I remember reading the office was new and had been improved. So I thought it would be faster.

All I needed was to renew my tags. I love doing it online, but with the recent changes I have not received the renewal notices on two vehicles this year.

Currently, I have been in line for one hour. The lobby is full of frustrated patrons. I have spoken to supervisors, employees and elected officials. Everyone says the current system is great! Really? I would hate to see what you would call bad. Oh, I am still in line.

So if you see me, I am relaxing in the corner just waiting to renew my tags. Thank you to all my fellow patrons for being patient. People here are amazing/Shane Grady of Hayden, letter to the Coeur d'Alene Press editor. More here.

Question: Has anyone noticed any differences at the local DMV of late?
