Coeur d'Alene PD news release:

Coeur d’Alene police officers responded to the 2700 block of N. 10th Place for a Welfare Check / No Contact Order Violation. Once on scene, officers observed a male they believed to be Christopher Neal Osborn who would be in violation of No Contact Order by being at the residence. Christopher also had multiple warrants for his arrest.

The male fled into the residence and would not respond to the officers. Some occupants of the residence came outside and confirmed that Christopher was inside, along with the female who was protected by the No Contact Order. Officers on scene announced themselves several times in attempt to get Christopher or the female to come outside with no response.

Officers eventually gained entry into the residence and located Christopher who was hiding inside. Christopher was taken into custody
without incident. The female was also located in the residence and was unharmed. The identity of the female is not being released at this time.

Christopher Neal Osborn was arrested for 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Felony No Contact Order Violation, Obstructing, one felony warrant for a No Contact Order Violation and two Misdemeanors warrants for probation violations.
