We all know of the Canadian connection that put Mike "Landslide" Kennedy over the top by 3 votes over Jim Brannon in the infamous Coeur d'Alene City Council election race back when. But it appears that there might be a Washington connection, too. Terry Werner of Post Falls spotted this sign in the Liberty Lake area and posted in on his Facebook page. But there's no scandal here. There is a man named Mike Kennedy servicing on the Liberty Lake City Council. And he is running for re-election. Wouldn't it be nice to see our Mike Kennedy's name on the ballot again -- say, opposing the re-election of state Sen. Mary Souza? Just sayin'.
