City accepting arts nominations

The City of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is accepting nominations for the 22nd Annual Mayor’s Awards in the Arts. Nominations may be submitted by art organizations, individuals, businesses or students and must be received by Aug. 31.

Senate health care in peril 93 

The Senate bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act was edging toward collapse on Monday after the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said it would increase the number of people without health insurance by 22 million by 2026.
