Trib: Do grandstanders have a point?

Marty Trillhaase/Lewiston Tribune and other political observers didn't expect much from the 2017 Idaho Legislature. But he did expect the lackluster session to end on time. The Legislature failed to meet the modest goal of wrapping things up last Friday as a result of the delaying tactics of two legislators, Rep. Heather Scott, R-Blanchard, and Rep. Priscilla Giddings, R-Whitebird. Other than making a name for themselves with their Far Right constituents, Trillhaase says, it's hard to figure out what their end game is. And maybe that's the point. Full editorial here.
