No longer talk of the town

Last week, this giant, metal die/dice was the talk of Coeur d'Alene, after it washed up on Lake Coeur d'Alene's north shore from Driftwood Bay. Now, it's an afterthought, next to a portable outhouse, and a target for graffiti. The city moved it from Independence Point to a spot east of Coeur d'Alene Skate Park. Graffiti artists have filled in three circles already. It isn't as appealing up close on dry land as it was on the water.
