Post Falls Walmart to open gas station

News release from Walmart:

To better serve customers, Walmart’s Idaho operations announced today that it is adding six fuel stations to its stores this spring. Three stations opened in the Boise-area this month and three additional stations are scheduled to open in April in the communities of Idaho Falls and Post Falls. Fuel stations are a new offering for Walmart in each of these communities.

The fuel station at Post Falls Walmart East, 3050 E Mullan Ave, Post Falls, is scheduled to open April 12.

“Customers want convenience and we are always looking for ways to save them time and money," said James Miller, store manager of the Meridian-area Walmart. "Offering convenience items at our fuel stations is something we’ve been doing for several years nationwide. It is exciting to add three fuel stations to our Boise area stores. This is the first time we've offered this service to customers in this market."

The 1,440 square foot stations will offer customers fuel and convenience items, such as chips, soda and other grab-and-go offerings. All locations will be collocated at Walmart Supercenter sites. To best serve customer needs, teams of five to eight associates will support each station. Stations will be open between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily.
