InfoWars Jones ap-hollow-gizes to Chobani 

Right-wing radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones says he has settled a lawsuit filed by Greek yogurt giant Chobani, reversing course from previous claims that he would never back down in the defamation case. Jones read a statement at the end of his show today, apologizing and retracting stories and tweets about Chobani.

ignite cda to meet this PM

When it meets this afternoon, the ignite cda board will discuss the possible future sale of 10-12 properties that the urban renewal district owns along Park Drive, north of Memorial Field. The board will also discuss the final design and financing for a refurbished Memorial Field and possible greenspace on vacant properties in Midtown.

In his editorial this morning, Opinion Editor Marty Trillhaase/Lewiston Tribune comments that former Idaho governor Dirk Kempthorne failed to mention his finest hour Saturday. Kempthorne was being honored with an honorary degree at the University of Idaho. But the list of his accomplishments as governor missed one significant event.

Elections attract only 5.7% turnout 

In a local election plagued by low voter turnout, incumbents retained their seats in several races on Tuesday. Overall voter turnout was just 5.7 percent.
