Police arrest woman in Orofino slaying case
She was remanded to the custody of the Clearwater County Jail and bond was set at $500,000.
Clearwater County public defender William J. Fitzgerald, of Lewiston, was appointed to represent Colpitts.
She was arrested about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday and charged in connection with the Monday death of Fignani. Orofino Police Chief Jeff Wilson was not available for comment on the case Wednesday. A spokeswoman at his office said he is continuing to investigate the case. The police department is being assisted by the Clearwater and Idaho County sheriff’s offices. More here.
