Poll: 1/5th Buys Illegal Fireworks

  • Monday Poll: One-fifth of Hucks Nation buys illegal fireworks. Tsk. Tsk. 31 of 143 respondents (21.68%) said that they buy illegal fireworks for the Fourth of July celebration. 110 of 143 respondents (76.92%) said they don't. 2 were undecided.
  • Obamacare: 67 of 116 respondents (57.76%) consider Obamacare to be a tax increase. 44 of 116 respondents (37.93%) consider it to be a penalty/fee. 5 were undecided.
  • Today's Poll (idea borrowed from our good friends at OpenCDA-dot-Com): Who will be the next Coeur d'Alene mayor (Steve Adams, Sandi Bloem, Jennifer Drake, Ron Edinger, Dan Gookin, Mike Kennedy, Sara Meyer, Rita Sims-Snyder or Mary Souza)?

Hucks Poll: Edinger Status Diminishes

  • Weekend Poll: Coeur d'Alene Councilman Ron Edinger has hurt his image in the eyes of Hucks Nation by his dug-in stand on McEuen Field and alliance with new Councilmen Dan Gookin and Steve Adams. 115 of 192 respondents (59.9%) said they viewed Edinger less favorable since he took his stand against Mayor Sandi Bloem and other recall targets and joined the minority side of the council. Only 51 of 192 respondents (26.42%) said they have a more favorable view of Edinger. 11 respondents (5.7%) said their view of Edinger hasn't changed, while another 11 (5.7%) said they have never supported the veteran council member. 5 respondents (2.59%) were undecided.
