On her Facebook wall, Linda Lantzy/Idaho Scenic Image asks a question that I've wondered about: “
“This morning's view of Coeur d'Alene Idaho from across Cougar Bay at 7 degrees,” tweets Linda Lantzy/Idaho Scenic Photos. “First lesson of the day~ Always put on the packpack. I really needed to shoot on bulb for this, but had left my remote in my backpack the Jeep. So, I bumped the ISO to 400 (something I hate doing), opened the aperature to f/7.1 (doable since I didn't need much depth for this shot), and still had a 25 second exposure.” More of Linda's work on her Facebook wall here.

“After a near torturous day of editing a weekend assignment,” writes Linda Lantzy of Idaho Scenic Images, “I had to get out of the office last night. This is from the dike road of Hayden Lake. Question: Do you spend much time on Hayden Lake?
“In the center of this image is a barn, to the left in the trees, is an old house,” posts Linda Lantzy on her Idaho Scenic Images Facebook wall. “I thought I was pretty isolated as a kid. At least we could see our neighbors' house across the valley. Coyote Canyon, northeast of Lewiston.”
“(Tuesday's) mix of sun and snow continued into the evening but the wind died down and made for a nice walk along the lake,” posts Linda Lantzy of Idaho Scenic Images on her Facebook wall. “This is the Silver Beach Marina.”

On her Idaho Scenic Images Facebook page, photographer Linda Lantzy writes re: this photo: ” If you guys had any idea what I go through for some of these shots…As usual tonight I was racing the sun, waded through loads of thistle plants, tumbled down the river bank, stopped inches from a very large splash in the river. Only got off a few shots before the sun was gone. Now I must excuse myself to go remove a few thorns.” Linda’s work will be displayed at Angel Gallery tomorrow night as part of the downtown’s monthly Artwalk.
