  • 5:53 p.m. Caller reports sighting a coyote near the back lot of Fred Meyer.
  • 5:33 p.m. S believes his ex-wife’s boyfriend is abusing his children.
  • 4:53 p.m. Timothy reports someone has stolen his ‘93 blue Olds that broke down @ H95 & Garwood. It was tagged this morning but not taken by the state patrol.
  • 4:46 p.m. Tamarack RV Park, 3630 Government Way, reports a trespasser on premises.
  • 4:26 p.m. A suicide attempt is reported in 2500 block of Sherman/CdA.
  • 3:59 p.m. 2 males in their late 20s are smearing mud on license plates of an old Pathfinder (unknown location).
  • 3:48 p.m. A 14YO boy w/long, brown hair and a red backpack refuses to stop riding his bike in the court yard of the Post Falls Library.

  • 5:31 p.m. A patrol officer wonders why there’s so much traffic on H95, near Silverwood, and is told by another one that the theme park is opening this weekend. “Oh,” said the first, “I thought someone was handing out free dollar bills.”
  • 5:14 p.m. A backhoe has ruptured a half-inch gas line @ Morse & Maple/Hayden.
  • 4:46 p.m. A large plastic toy is lying in w/b I-90 lanes @ M/P 7.5 (near H41).
  • 4:11 p.m. Caller from Silverwood reports smoke near Bunco & Cedar Mountain/Athol.
  • 4:06 p.m. 2 dogs are creating a road hazard by running the road in the 6900 block of Ramsey Road.
  • 3:56 p.m. Neighbor on 12th/Post Falls reports seeing a 14YO girl holding a knife on another girl in next apartment.
  • 3:52 p.m. No injuries reported from a single-motorcycle crash in front of Silverwood.
  • 3:47 p.m. A race car rolled over and ended up on a fence at Stateline Speedway.

  • 4:39 p.m. 19YO motorcyclist is conscious but can’t get up after crashing on Dredge Road, near M/P 38 of I-90, just west of Shoshone County line.
  • 3:30 p.m. An NIC student is locked out of her car on the Dike Road.
  • 2:50 p.m. A CPD Blue is checking on a 14YO boy from Yakima who says he’s homeless. But he has an apartment address on Julia listed for him in police files. He has a warrant for his arrest.
  • 1:52 p.m. R/P reports a semi driver has created a traffic hazard by parking his rig in the middle of Appleway @ Fruitland.
  • 1:19 p.m. Garwood Elementary officials are looking for a girl who reportedly was seen walking to school but she never arrived. They have been unable to contact her parents.

  • 5:29 p.m. A deceased deer is laying on Ferrell by The Shanty bar/Huetter
  • 5:10 p.m. Elderly woman who’d been weaving in and out of traffic has struck a vehicle in front of The Torch bikini bar on Lakeside/CDA.
  • 4:49 p.m. R/P reports illegal burn on French Gulch Road, south of Harrison Avenue.
  • 4:27 p.m. 3 horses are running down the middle of Church Road, from Hoyt, toward Highway 53 in the Hauser Lake area.
  • 4:09 p.m. R/P Leah reports she has caught a stray brindle pitbull puppy.
  • 2:40 p.m. R/P reports a marijuana grow and possible meth lab near Hayden Avenue & Government Way.
  • 1:19 p.m. A 78YO male had fallen and lain on the floor for an hour in a room at the Holiday Motel on Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive.
  • 1:09 p.m. Post Falls PD Blue is looking for a red pickup with a plow on the front that was stolen today after being purchased recently. The pickup was last seen exiting Appleway onto Ramsey Road/CDA.

  • 5:54 p.m. A drunk man has left a day care near 15th & Pennsylvania, n/b on 15th.
  • 5:12 p.m. Kirk reports that a female is stealing his pickup.
  • 5:08 p.m. A man reportedly is bleeding and suffering chest pains in a trailer court behind KKJ Pizza/Athol.
  • 4:21 p.m. R/P reports that a male hit another male in the face at the Harmony House on Dakota Avenue.
  • 1:47 p.m. R/P reports that a neighbor’s horses are running loose on Hayden.
  • 1 p.m. CPD Blue officers are looking for a handcuffed woman who escaped from the back of a patrol car. She reportedly is in the 4500 block of Fairway Forest, near the Kroc Center and an apartment complex. An escape warrant has been added to misdemeanor warrant for her. Update: A CityLink bus driver later reported that she’d dropped off a “suspicious” acting woman in a brown hoodie and two males @ 15th & Sherman.
  • 12:28 p.m. A family has evacuated its home as a result of a chimney fire @ 2813 Clara.
