More Info: A driver was Tased today for resisting before police realized he was actually having a diabetic episode. The incident started about 4:45 p.m. when dispatchers got a report of a man driving erratically on Seltice Way in Post Falls, “slow, fast and all over the lane,” said Post Falls police Sgt. Kathy Eshoo. Before an officer caught up to him, the man drove over a porch and clipped the corner of a house, before stopping in the yard, she said. The man was not complying with police orders and was Tased, Eshoo said, but he then began fighting with the officers.

Police have identified two people who were found dead inside a Post Falls home
Thursday evening. Christina K. Mandriguez, 38, and Jeffrey A. Hayes, 54, each died of a
single gunshot wound to the forehead in a homicide/suicide, said Post
Falls Police Chief Scot Haug. The couple’s landlord found Mandriguez’s body around 5:15 p.m. and
called police. Investigators found her slumped up against the front
door, with a cell phone in her hand, Haug said. Hayes was found a few

Police confirmed that two people found dead inside a Post Falls home this evening each died of a gunshot wound to the head. An adult woman was found with a single gunshot wound in the front of her head around 5:15 p.m. She was slumped up against the front door, with a cell phone in her hand, said Post Falls Police Chief Scot Haug. The man had a similar wound, and was found in a hallway a few feet away. A Glock handgun was on the scene. There was no sign of an intruder or forced entry to the rental home at 509 E. 11th St., but police are not calling it a murder/suicide, Haug said/Chelsea Bannach, SR. More here. A 25-year-old baby sitter is suspected of critically injuring a 3-year-old boy at his Post Falls home on Monday. The woman told police she’d shoved the boy to the ground as she was changing his clothes after he urinated, said Post Falls police Lt. Greg McLean. Doctors said the boy had a bleeding skull fracture; police aren’t sure if he’ll survive. The woman, whose name has not been released, called 911 about 4:30 p.m. “because he was unresponsive,” McLean said. “According to her, it was probably within 10 minutes (of the incident). More Info: A wandering pit bull that has had multiple aggressive incidents since Friday was shot to death by police on Wednesday after it was spotted near school playgrounds and became a traffic hazard along Interstate 90. The adult male dog, which weighed 80 to 90 pounds, was shot to death by an officer around noon on the north side of I-90 near the Slab Inn after it had been seen in the vicinity of Seltice Elementary and CornerStone Christian Academy.

Post Falls police are looking for a man who tried to entice four juveniles into his silver or white
Honda Saturday night. The youths told police that the man drove up to them at Syringa & Horsehaven at about 9 o’clock and told them to get into the car. According to a police report, he threatened to follow two of the teens until they got into his car. The juveniles fled the area and sought help from a local off-duty officer. The suspect car is described as a newer Honda Civic 4-door, with tinted windows, and a spoiler on the rear trunk and dark rims. The youths could not provide a description of the driver. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Post Falls police, 773-3517.
A Rogers High School teacher has been cited on a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure
for exposing his gentalia to a woman in the parking lot of Super One Foods/Post Falls. Daniel James Rhoades, 31, admitted to police that he intentionally exposed his genitals to the victim who was sitting in her parked car about 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7. Rhoades admitted that this was not the first incident where he had exposed his genitals in public, according to a Post Falls police news release. But he claims it was the first time that anyone had seen him do so. According to the police report, Rhoades was standing near the front of the store when he unzipped his pants and exposed himself to the victim. The victim was able to get the license plate number of his blue Dodge Dakota before he drove off.
