PM Scanner Traffic — 7.31.14

PFPD Facebook: Kal’s Auto Sales, located on Seltice Way in Post Falls, reported that two vehicles had been burglarized sometime between 8:50 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Friday. The male suspect pictured below was wearing darker shorts and a light-colored t-shirt with an unknown design on the front and back. The suspect arrived on what appears to be a smaller female’s bicycle, possible white frame and seat. After he steals a stereo from one of the vehicles, the suspect heads west out of the lot. These burglaries were committed while it was still daylight and moderate traffic on Seltice Way. Also, La Cabana was still open.

Beer Theft at Stateline Walmart: The male pictured above is suspected of stealing a 30-pack of Bud Light from WalMart, located on Pointe Parkway in Post Falls, around 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9. A witness observed the male drive away in an orange and black truck, heading towards the Washington state line. If you have any information or tips, please contact Det. On Monday, Post Falls police and Kootenai County Fire & Rescue rescue a dog that appears to have fallen into a ditch, according to PFPD Facebook page. The dog does not appear to have any broken bones or major injuries at this time. The dog is currently being treated for dehydration and neglect. “We think the dog had been there for at least two days and if it had not been rescued it would have perished. We do not believe the dog was shot it looks like he just fell down,” said the PFPD Facebook page. PFPD is looking for information re: owner of the dog. (Photo: PFPD Facebook)
