N8RST: Too bad the Spokesman didn’t do their own reporting. This was a North
American wide event with
hundreds of locations and thousands
participating including a local one in Worley ID at Sun Meadows. Which
is one of the two local nudist camps in our area, Kaniksu Ranch is the
other one. It was a great time. As to all the negative comments this is a part of what nudism
teaches the idea of body acceptance. No ones perfect in fact most of us
have some scars or carry a few extra pounds but in a nudist setting no
one judges you for it.
Question: Do you accept the argument by nudists that nudism teaches the idea of body acceptance?
A sign encourages participants to go around to the main entrance so they can be counted as The Willamettans Family Nudist Resort adds their numbers in hopes of beating last year’s record in the Guinness-sanctioned “Largest Skinny Dip Across North America” event. Over 200 nudists jumped into the resort pool near Springfield, Ore. at noon Saturday for the attempt which sought to break the record of 13,674 nationwide set last year. Question: Have you ever gone skinny dipping?
If you’d like to participate in this national event at a place where you’re not likely to be arrested,
check out the 2nd Annual Skin to the Wind Festival of Fun at Sun Meadow Resort July 9 to 12 near Worley, Idaho. A highlight this year will be an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records largest skinny dip ever in North America. The American Association for Nude Recreation is coordinating the record-setting event and the folks gathered at Sun Meadow will do their part Saturday July 11 at high noon. The public is invited to participate in this event nationwide. Rules require all participants to be completely nude to be counted/OrangeTV, Get Out! North Idaho. More here.
