Transgender Faces Breast Exam Count

A Boise woman who police say posed as a plastic surgeon and fondled at least two women in local bars is being held in the Ada County Jail on a $100,000 bond for two felony charges for practicing medicine without a license. Boise police and Ada County prosecutors say 37-year-old Kristina B. Ross — posing as Dr. Berlyn Aussieahshowna — touched women’s breasts under the guise of a “breast exam.” Prosecutors said Wednesday one woman disrobed for Ross and another was grabbed above her clothes. On Nov. 2, employees of a licensed plastic surgeon at a Downtown medical office said they’d taken several calls in recent weeks from women asking for Dr. Aussieahshowna and claiming they had scheduled appointments and surgeries/Patrick Orr, Statesman. More here.

Question: Can you think of a pickup line that’s worse than this one? I’m a plastic surgeon who’s giving free breast exams?

More Info: Tim Gresback wants the city to provide more legal protection for transgendered people. The lawyer and Moscow Human Rights Commission member has asked the city to consider adding transgendered people as a specifically protected group in its employment nondiscrimination policy. Speaking before the city’s administrative committee Monday, Gresback said that the city’s current nondiscrimination policy provides protections based on age, race, religion and sexual orientation.

Question: Should Moscow include transgendered people in its current nondiscrimination policy that provides protections based on age, race, religion and sexual orientation.
