Sauter to start from the pole at Texas in Camping World Truck Series race

Johnny Sauter nabbed the top spot in Keystone Light qualifying on Thursday and will lead the field to the start of the Winstar World Casino 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Johnny Sauter won the Keystone Light Pole Award for the Winstar World Casino 400 with a lap of 30.086 seconds, 179.485 mph.

This is his first pole in 19 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.

This is his first pole and third top-10 start in 2009.

This is his first pole in two races at Texas Motor Speedway.

Scott Speed was the last rookie to win a series pole at Bristol Motor Speedway in August 2008. Rookie Justin Marks won the pole for last year's Winstar World Casino 400.

Ron Hornaday Jr. (second) posted his eighth top-10 start of 2009 and his ninth in 13 races at Texas Motor Speedway.

Matt Crafton (third) posted his third top-10 start at Texas Motor Speedway. It is his fifth in eight races this season.
