(June 14, 2009) – Eliminations are complete and the winners have been crowned at the inaugural NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event hosted at the newly renovated Spokane County Raceway. Cowie posted a lap of 5.495 seconds at 264.29 mph against the defending Northwest divisional champ, Joey Severance from Spanaway, Wash.
