Sunshine Smiles On Stateline Speedway Winners

The Northwest Modifieds in their second visit of 2009 saw a few new faces,
and close compitiion. The 40 lap main event. brought Chris Ochs to the
finish line with Tim Sayer and Rick Gimeno right on the leaders heels.

POST FALLS, IDAHO – May 9th, 2009 – Sunshine made the race day great at
Stateline Speedway Saturday, as racers in three divisions had a flawless
evening of race action.

The Northwest Modifieds in their second visit of 2009 saw a few new faces,
and close compitiion. The 40 lap main event. brought Chris Ochs to the
finish line with Tim Sayer and Rick Gimeno right on the leaders heels.

The Northwest Legends showed with a very good field of cars, the 30 lap
main event brought Matt Henderson to the podium in the first spot, with Garret
Archer and Jake Bisset rounding out second and third.

The Stateline Street Stock Diviision saw some close racing action as the 25
lap main event saw defending Street Stock champion Ned Pennington finishing
first followed by Aaron Nevers and Kip Elliott.

Next Saturday the late models of the INSSA Racing Series take to the track
along with the Early Stocks and Hobby cars. Events start a new start time of
6pm. General admission is $12 for adults; kids under six are free.

The wild, wacky, unpredictable action of Wednesday Night Fever continues
every Wednesday at 6pm with the cars and superstars of the Road Runners, Fever
4’s, plus the wild and crazy Bump to Pass division. Adults are just $5.75;
kids under the age of nine accompanied by adults are free.
