Marysville, WA (September 9, 2009): This Saturday night September 12 the iRacing.com American Speed Association Northwest Late Model Tour returns to Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval for the Wenatchee 125 presented by Randy’s Towing. The Northwest’s only super late model stock car series makes its second appearance in 2009 on the super fast .250-mile high banked oval.  Garrett Evans (E. Wenatchee, WA) will try to match his win back in May.

The series has a great points battle going to see who will be the first ever ASA NWLMT champion. This being the first year of the new series which combined the Late Model Challenge Series and Northwest Tour, Gary Lewis (Snohomish, WA) is the current leader with a 12-point edge on E. Wenatchee, WA ace Brent Harris. Harris has been extremely successful on his home turf over the years including Late Model Championships. Lewis has also seen success on the fast but tricky oval.

With two races remaining in the chase for the championship the Wenatchee 125 presented by Randy’s Towing will be very pivotal. Any kind of faultier by Lewis and or Harris could change the whole complexion of the chase. Sitting in the wings with a 68-point deficit is Kelly Mann (Monroe, WA).

The best super late model stock car teams are ready for the challenge of making a trip to victory circle. Their objective will be to better their respective standings and garner the $1750.00 winner’s check.
