In heat 1B, team mates Jeff Bernard in the U-5 Formulaboats.com and J Michael Kelly in the U-7 Graham Trucking battled for 2nd behind Villwock.  Bernard was given a one lap penalty for changing lanes in front of Kelly and dropped to 5th place.

Kelly was 2nd with Mark Evans in the U-57 Washington Truck Dispatch 3rd.  4th place went to Mike Webster in the U-22 Matrix Systems.
