Greg Pursley scores the win at Spokane County Raceway on the NASCAR K&N Pro Sereis.
Greg Pursley led 56 laps, taking the lead back from Cameron Hayley on Lap 56 en route to winning the Talking Stick Resort 60. Hayley, 16, finished second to give Gene Price Motorsports a 1-2 finish.
The driver of the No. 26 GPM/Star Nursery/Real Water Ford – hailing from Newhall, Calif. – started the day with his fourth Coors Light Pole Award and then led all 63 laps en route to his fourth win of the season and the 13th of his series career.
Greg Pursley piloted his No. 26 GPM/Star Nursery/Real Water Ford by Dylan Kwasniewski early in the race and held off a hard-charging Derek Thorn during the final restart to pick up his third win of the season and 12th overall in his series career.
Greg Pursley picked up his second NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win of the season, the 11th of his career, and successfully defended his race title at the .375-mile track.
Greg Pursley dominated the early portion of the race and led the first 21 laps before stopping for fuel. At one point he had a more than six-second lead on Eric Holmes. After the stop he drove his No. 26 Gene Price Motorsports/Star Nursery Ford through the field and made it to second place before suffering the flat tire on Lap 39. Fortunately, Pursley discovered the tire going down at precisely the best place on the 2.2-mile road course.
Greg Pursley is the hottest driver in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series after a win at his hometrack just outside of Los Angeles. Leading the championship standings, the victory added to his points total as the series heads to the Northwestern United States with stops in Monroe, Wash. (July 9), Portland, Ore. (July 24) and Kalispell, Mont. (Aug. 13).
